Fire Department
The Mills Fire Department is committed to providing optimum preservation of life, property, and environment, to our residents and visitors, through the process of prevention and education, with the highest level of skill, teamwork, and customer service.
The Mills Fire Department was founded in 1923. The town elders formed a committee to build what is today the foundation of a volunteer fire department that has evolved and adapted to meet the needs of the community through the years. Today we have a Combination fire department consisting of Fulltime career and volunteer personnel trained in not just structural firefighting but wildland firefighting, emergency medical services, vehicle extrication, swift water rescue and hazardous materials mitigation.
The brave and dedicated members of the Mills Fire Department are sworn to protect the citizens of Mills and assist all residents of Natrona County if called to do so.
We take the DUTY of protecting lives, property and the environment seriously. Public TRUST in our ability to keep you safe is sacred to us. We take enormous PRIDE in providing the citizens of Mills with the most professional emergency services our training allows. The TRADITION of self-sacrifice and helping our neighbors in their hour of need is a testament to our dedication.
