Council, Commissions, & Boards Application

Are you interested in serving on the Planning & Zoning Board? Our board members are appointed for 2-year terms with 2 or 3 board seats expiring every June 30th. The terms are set from July 1st to June 30th to be in line with the city fiscal year. There are no term limits. The board consists of 5 City of Mills residents appointed by Mills City Council. Staff members offer open applications throughout the year but look at those applications every spring, conduct interviews and make a recommendation to council for the board. If you are interested in applying for a board seat, fill out the board application and return it to city hall.
