Drug Take Back a Success

The medications collected through the medication drop box in the lobby were recently sorted by volunteers: Patti Nelson, PharmD, and Lanae Fox, PharmD, three pharmacy students and a pharmacy resident. Over the past two years, Mills Police Department had collected approximately 420 pounds of medication. Over 400 pounds of medications were destroyed and approximately 12 pounds was donated to the Wyoming Medication Donation Program.

To dispose of any medications, visit the Mills Police Department Lobby at 4800 W. Yellowstone, Mills, Wyoming. Drop-off hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The drop box is not able to take any kind of needles/syringes
at this time.
